Character Name: Purge
Canon: Space Channel 5
Age: 18 years old
Appearance: http://images.wikia.com/spacechannel5/images/2/26/Dancethrust.png
Canon Point: After the events of Space Channel 5 Part 2.
How will your character react to the initial night period?: Purge doesn’t take a lot of things seriously and he only does when he’s pushed enough. Depending on what happens during the night period, he might either brush it off or give it his full attention. If something manages to upset him though, he’ll do everything in his power to see that it’s destroyed.
History: http://spacechannel5.wikia.com/wiki/Purge
AU History: N/A
Personality: When it comes to social skills, Purge isn’t a people person. This is mostly due to the fact that he’s been living on his own ever since he was nine and hasn’t exactly benefited from it. Because of the fact that he hasn’t seen a lot of people until recently; and even then it wasn’t a positive experience, he’s a bit reluctant to open up to anybody. Sure, he’ll act the part and act cheeky and cheery around a person, but he’s too busy thinking about ways to screw someone over if they betray his trust. It takes a lot for Purge to open up to someone, but if someone manages that, they’ll have the most powerful person from the future he comes from on their side. However should someone choose to break that trust, and he’ll make sure that they’ll regret even thinking of it. He doesn’t take betrayal kindly, as seen in the Japan-Only cellphone game series Ulala’s Channel J, where he goes out of his way to “punish” the very robots he created with electricity after they decided to leave him.
Purge is skilled with robotics and machinery, and enjoys building robots and contraptions, usually used for his next big plan to take over the galaxy. When he’s not doing that however, he composes his own music.
Living alone for nine years hasn’t just affected his social skills, however. It’s unfortunately made him a bit delusional. Purge believes that he must lead the stupid and unhappy people to a man-made paradise where they will be freed from their day to day issues and petty doubts. Due to being defeated by Ulala however, and shown what the power of love can accomplish, he’s had some doubts about his beliefs.
To say that Purge is a narcissist would be an understatement; he sees himself as a genius sometimes and as a messiah the other times. Even though he’s self-centered and self-serving and looks out for himself before others, his Hubris can cause him to underestimate a situation, which naturally gets him into more trouble than it’s worth.
Abilities: Purge can absorb the dance energy coming from a person into himself, allowing him to unnaturally power up. When he has enough dance energy, certain abilities become available for him. If a lot of dance energy has been collected, Purge gains the ability to bend spacetime, allowing him to slow down and speed up certain aspects of it. It takes a lot of energy though, and leaves him exhausted, so he only uses this as a last resort.

Third Person:
“Ulala, I needed your dance power you see. Now we have all the power we need!”
To say that his plan was genius would be an understatement, but then again he expected nothing less than perfection. Fooling Ulala into thinking that he’d actually give the Space President and the hostages back, only to lead a full frontal assault on the space station when her back was turned? That was cunning. Brainwashing one of her friends who had just happened to be snooping around his base and having them go up against each other in a Battle of the Bands? That was smart. This however, was a whole new level of genius for him. Purge separated the woman from her friends, thus cutting off her support should things go from bad to worse. Then he challenged her to a dance off, in an effort to buy himself some time for the Ballistic Groove Gun to finish charging and to see if he couldn’t stimulate that dance energy of hers. And to top it all off, he still had the Space President and was using him to power his greatest invention yet.
Nine simultaneous shots of electricity; that’s all it took to leave the reporter collapsed on the ground, fatally wounded. Now there was nobody to stand in his way of making a perfect paradise where everyone would be happy and dance for him for the rest of time… or until he got bored of it, of course.
